QuickUse Generator

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This is the privacy policy for QuickUse Generator (quickusegenerator.com). Plain language over legalese. Privacy is our differentiator: over 90% of generators run 100% in your browser via the Web Crypto API. We never see what you generate.

Summary

All generators run in your browser. We never see the passwords, UUIDs, QR code payloads, or any other output you generate. The output never leaves your device.

Favorites and preferences are stored on your device via localStorage. We do not see what you favorite or which generators you use most.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure anonymous traffic (pages visited, approximate country, device, Core Web Vitals). Both are cookieless.

We display advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are gated by consent: visitors from the EEA, UK, and Brazil see a consent banner powered by Google Funding Choices before any advertising or analytics cookie is set. Refusing consent still shows ads, but only contextual (based on page content), not personalized.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone outside our listed processors (Vercel, Google, Cloudflare).

Who is the data controller

QuickUse Generator is operated by the publisher identified on the Contact page. Our registered location for LGPD/GDPR correspondence is Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

For any privacy-related request — access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, consent withdrawal — email contact-us@quickusegenerator.com with the subject "Privacy request". We answer within 15 business days for LGPD requests and 30 days for GDPR requests, in line with the applicable statutory deadlines.

What we collect

Anonymous traffic analytics via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights: URL visited, referring site, approximate country (derived from your IP then discarded), device and browser class, Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS). No cookies, no fingerprinting, no identifier linked to you.

Error reports: if the site crashes in your browser, the error message and stack trace may be logged so we can fix the bug. We strip personal data from these reports before storage.

Consent signals: when you interact with the cookie banner (accept, reject, customize), your choice is stored locally so we do not ask again on every page. This record lives on your device and in the Google Funding Choices framework; it is not linked to your identity.

Advertising and measurement data collected by Google when you consent (see section below).

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifying information, unless you voluntarily send us an email or contact form.

We do not observe the outputs you generate. Generation happens locally.

We do not track you across third-party websites using our own infrastructure.

Why generators run client-side

This is the heart of our privacy claim. When you click 'Generate password', the JavaScript running in your browser calls the Web Crypto API (a standard browser API for cryptographic operations) and returns a string of random bytes. That string is rendered into the textbox on the page. It never gets sent over the network. We cannot see it even if we wanted to.

The same applies to UUID generators (RFC 4122 random or time-based generation, all in-browser), QR codes (the QR matrix is computed in your browser from the text you typed), color palettes, fake names, and so on. Anywhere we mark a generator as 'client-side' on the Methodology page, it follows this pattern.

A few generators may use a server-side API in the future (for example, AI-powered generators that call an LLM). Those will be clearly marked with a server-side badge and a disclaimer explaining what data the server receives. We will not silently switch a client-side generator to server-side.

Google AdSense and advertising

This site is a Google AdSense publisher. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Specifically, Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie (and other advertising cookies) to serve ads based on the content you view on QuickUse Generator and elsewhere.

Ads are served under one of two regimes depending on your consent:

Personalized ads — shown when you have granted consent via the banner. Google may use information it collects across its ad network to pick ads likely to interest you.

Contextual (non-personalized) ads — shown to visitors who refused consent or who are in regions where Google defaults to contextual-only behavior. These ads are chosen from page content, not from a profile.

Third-party vendors listed by Google in its real-time bidding program may participate when you grant consent. The full, auto-updated list is available at https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/9012903.

To opt out of personalized advertising across Google services: https://www.google.com/settings/ads. To opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party vendors: https://optout.networkadvertising.org and https://optout.aboutads.info. These opt-outs operate independently of our cookie banner and apply across the web, not just to this site.

Cookies and consent

We use Google Funding Choices as our consent management platform (CMP). It is a Google-certified CMP compliant with the IAB TCF v2.2 framework and specifically designed for AdSense publishers.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. That means every visitor is treated as non-consented by default: any advertising or analytics cookie that would otherwise be set is blocked at the script level until you interact with the banner. "Accept" widens the signal to allow personalized content; "Reject" or closing the banner keeps non-essential cookies blocked.

You can change your choice at any time. The footer carries a "Manage cookie preferences" link that re-opens the Funding Choices banner. A more detailed breakdown of every cookie category we set (strictly necessary, preferences, analytics, advertising) lives on our dedicated Cookies page.

Your rights (LGPD and GDPR)

Under the Brazilian LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law 13.709/2018) and the EU/UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Brazilian ANPD (anpd.gov.br) or your local EU/UK data protection authority.

Because we collect almost nothing tied to your identity, most of these rights have minimal scope on our site. Concretely: if we have no record of you that is linked to a personal identifier, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. Where we do hold data (e.g. an email you sent us through Contact, an error report), the rights above apply in full.

Send any data subject request to contact-us@quickusegenerator.com.

Children

QuickUse Generator is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone in that age group. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy materially, we update the "Last updated" date at the top and (for changes that affect your privacy in a meaningful way) post a notice at the top of the page for at least 30 days. We do not email subscribers because we do not have subscribers; the policy is the source of truth.
